All done and dusted

 We have finished and on our way back having had a fantastic weeks riding in everything from driving snow to bright sunshine it’s without doubt the weather has been unprecedented apparently snow has not been this early for thirty years and it’s ok we can laugh now but at the time it was particularly cold for Dave who was told it would be warm !!

With the exception of chan stretch the bikes worked perfectly and really are the go to bike for here plenty of graunt but also comfortable on the motorway 

Having had a great a ride I always ask myself what I should have done differently 

The first is the fitted Garmin the maps need updating, and at the very least should have the same setting 

Ideally, U-turns are allowed. Off-road allowed and ideally the same, either faster or best route, as too frequently the two GPS would differ significantly 

The paper maps are a godsend as I'm using my clip board route but you must take more glasses
